In Australia we have the Woolworths brand valued at approximately $13.7 billion.
Provides a simple and cost-effective process for your brand to be protected internationally (by obtaining an international trade mark registration).
Protection from unauthorised use – A registered trade mark gives you the legal right under the Trade Marks Act 1995 (Cth) to enforce your registered trade mark. Although be careful about making unjustified threats!
A registered trade mark gives you the exclusive right to use, sell and licence you trade mark.
A Registered trade mark will likely deter other traders from creating/using a similar brand once they realise that there is a similar/ or same registered trade mark already existing on the IP Australia register.
